تأثیر مخارج نظامی بر بیکاری در کشورهای منتخب درحال‌توسعه با استفاده از رهیافت میانگین‌ گروهی تلفیقی

چکیده

 
در مقاله حاضر، تأثیر مخارج نظامی بر نرخ بیکاری در کشورهای منتخب درحال‌توسعه طی دوره‌ زمانی 2014-1995 بررسی می شود. به این منظور، نخست یک مدل با حضور متغیرهای اساسی مؤثر بر بیکاری در کنار متغیر سهم مخارج نظامی از GDP طراحی شده و با استفاده از آزمون‌های هم‌‌انباشتگی پانلی، وجود رابطه تعادلی بلندمدت بین متغیرهای مدل به تأیید رسیده و در پایان، از رهیافت میانگین‌ گروهی تلفیقی (PMG)، به ‌منظور اندازه‌گیری رابطه‌های بلندمدت و کوتاه‌مدت استفاده شده است. یافته‌های این تحقیق نشان‌دهنده تأثیر مثبت سهم مخارج نظامی از GDP، بر نرخ بیکاری در کشورهای مورد مطالعه است (تأیید منحنی آبرامز در بخش نظامی). در مقابل، اثر سهم مخارج غیرنظامی از GDP، بر نرخ بیکاری کشورهای منتخب درحال‌توسعه، منفی می‌باشد (عدم تأیید منحنی آبرامز در بخش غیرنظامی).بر اساس سایر نتایج، رشد اقتصادی و نرخ تورم اثر منفی بر نرخ بیکاری داشته‌اند که به‌ترتیب تأییدی بر صحت قانون اوکان و منحنی فیلیپس در اقتصاد کشورهای مورد مطالعه است.

چکیده [English]

This paper tries to investigate the effect of military spending on unemployment in selected developing countries during the period of 1995-2014. For this purpose, first, a model has been designed with the presence of fundamental variables affecting unemployment rate alongside the share of military spending from GDP variable. Then, using the panel co-integration tests the long-run equilibrium relationship between the model variables has been confirmed. Finally, the Panel Mean Group (PMG) approach has been used to measure the long-term and short-term relationships. The findings indicate the positive impact of the share of military spending from GDP on the unemployment rate and confirm the Abrams curve in the military sector. By contrast, the effect of the share of non-military spending from GDP on the unemployment rate is negative and rejects the Abrams curve in the civilian sector. Based on the other results, economic growth and inflation have negative effects on unemployment rate, which confirm the Okan's law and the Philips curve in the selected economies, respectively
